This is the location of "Suao Mirage", one of the eight scenic spots in Lanyang mentioned in the "Gamalan Hall Chronicles" in the 5th year of Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty (1852 AD). "Suao Mirage" is one of the "Eight Scenic Spots of Lanyang". Su'ao Port is surrounded by Nanfang'ao and Beifang'ao. When the sea level is flat in spring and summer, the reflection of ships into the sea and the sky will appear like pavilions, formerly known as mirage.
The west side of the observation deck overlooks the lush and majestic Hutoushan Mountain, and the north side overlooks the beautiful scenery of Neipi Beach and Tofu Cape (composed of Taiwan's largest mainland island and island sandbar). It is an ideal place for tourists to visit Southern Australia. Excellent location for sea view.
