Built in the 36th year of Meiji (1930), the 460 meter-long tunnel closed down in 1998. To preserve the precious railway culture, the county government refurbished it a few years ago and decorated with colorful LED lights. Today, the tunnel looks like a fantasy land when the lights are on!
