Xitou Forest Recreation Area (Xitou Nature Education Park) is located in the southwest of Fenghuang Mountain, which is also known as "Xitou" to the public. There are Xitou Forest Castle, Xitou Sacred Tree, Daxue Pond, Red Building, Ginkgo Forest, Xitou Forest Natural Ecological Exhibition Center and other attractions in the park.

There are also various forest trails and hiking trails that shuttle through the forest. One of the trails has Known as the "Aerial Gallery", it can be said to be connected in all directions. Government agencies such as the Phoenix Mountain Observatory and the Xitou Meteorological Observatory are also located here.
